The most common factors we see contributing to the issues you are experiencing are owing to software update and calibration of the trainer.

We have found that in some cases, an incorrectly paired trainer or older firmware may mask as a hardware failure. In order to ensure that this is not the case, please use the following steps to address the concern:
Please use the following troubleshooting guide to attempt to resolve the issue:

If this fails to resolve the issue, please confirm the following:
(1) The KICKR / CORE is currently running firmware on latest available firmware version - see links for latest firmware available:
KICKR - https://support.wahoofitness.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000219840-KICKR-18-Firmware-Updates
CORE - https://support.wahoofitness.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000217839-KICKR-CORE-Firmware-Updates
(2) You have restarted your phone and unplugged the KICKR / CORE for at least 30 seconds after updating the device's firmware.
(3) With no apps open, upon plugging in the KICKR / CORE, the blue light on the Trainer shows a slow blink.
(4) Upon opening only the Wahoo Fitness app, the blue light goes solid, and once fully connected, you are unable to complete a spindown.
Please confirm if the above is the case if you do not have a SPEED + POWER reading from your unit?
KICKR STABLE WATTAGE TEST
The below test will allow us to confirm if the trainer is performing correctly, please complete the below steps after you have completed the update and spin-down procedure:
Place bike being used in the small front chainring. Please test using the Wahoo Fitness app ERG Mode (with all additional apps and devices capable of connecting to the KICKR turned off/ closed out):

1) Pair your KICKR and a cadence sensor (if available) to the Wahoo Fitness app
2) Begin a workout in ERG mode and leave the bike in your lowest gear
3) Start spinning, set the power target to 150 watts and hold steady cadence (80 - 90 RPM) for Five (5) minutes
Please provide the FIT file (android) or TCX file (iOS) from the workout.
I look forward to hearing back from you with the above results, so we can get to the bottom of the issue.
